A great cabin project by Olson Kundig Architects built for a client who fly-fishes for steelhead on the Olympic Peninsula, this is a steel clad 350 sf cabin on stilts, it can be completely shuttered when the owner is not around. the cabin’s is built to be safe during occasional floods from the nearby river.
The overall design is compact as the client requested with low-maintenance. It’s composed of two levels, Lower level has the entry, dining and kitchen areas, the second level have the sleeping loft with minimal shelving.
