Why should you avoid milk after 8 PM ?

A healthy source of protein and calcium, the problem with milk before bed is the lactose content in it that might keep some people up due to digestive issues. If you’re lactose intolerant, this is one drink you’ll definitely want to avoid.

Lactose is a sugar and you don’t want large amounts in your system before bed. If you are glucose intolerant, the resulting blood sugar crash could wake you up in the middle of the night as your brain will send you signals to eat

Mix up a lactose-free protein shake. Higher in protein content than milk. So you can build muscle while sleeping.

Ooops! Sometimes I do drink milk before sleeping. Maybe I’ll change my routine. Thanks for this tip. 🙂
